Rates

$2,400 per day with a 5-day minimum or $15,000 per week. For holiday rates, contact us.

50% non-refundable deposit with reservation. $5,000 security deposit, and a $500 deposit for phone, fax, etc. Guests are requested to use their credit cards for long distance phone calls. Balance is due 30 days prior to occupancy.

General Information

All guests receive temporary Mauna Kea guest cards. Guests are entitled to enjoy all the facilities of the Mauna Kea Hotel and Resort and the Hapuna Prince Resort including golf, tennis, beach, snorkeling, etc.

There is no charge for the use of most of the facilities except, of course, the hotel restaurants and golf. Lilio Lana I Ka Wai guests are charged at the regular hotel guest rates for golf.

Room service is not available but parties may be catered by arrangement with the hotel.

A cook and other service personnel may be supplied with proper notice. Inquire about rates.

Dress code at the hotel is informal except for one or two of the restaurants which may require jackets at dinner.

Rental Arrangements

No later than 30 days before occupancy, guests should advise us of the following:

• Number of people in their party including the names of all guests and the age of all children so the hotel may issue the proper guest cards
• Number of days, if any, cleaning services are desired
• Flight information and anticipated arrival time at the house
• Special requests

Transportation to the hotel from the Kona-Keahole Airport can be arranged through the hotel. Most guests prefer to rent a car(s) at the airport.

Mauna Kea is approximately 25 miles from the airport directly on the Queen Kaahumanu Highway.
